Translation: I'm off the ship in March, halfway through the deployment, and after spending 5 weeks in school in Pensacola, Florida, I'm back here in San Diego as a recruiter.

HELL FUCKING YEAH!

Getting any orders here on land in Southern California is next to impossible, so to say I'm happy would be an understatement! I've already got my place in PB lined up (I move in next month), and I'm planning on getting a dog when I get back here. As for Amy, everything's going impossibly well with her. I'm flying home with her for Thanksgiving this week to meet the rest of the family, and she's coming home with me to New York and the Carolinas this spring when I go on leave after I fly off the ship. So, all of you back home in Charlotte and up in Bath (and hopefully Charleston and VA as well), we'll be swinging through in March for a few weeks...not sure exactly when yet, as she said something the other day about using her mom's condo in Puerto Vallarta for a few days as well....

More about all of that later, though. It's been a long weekend, and I need some sleep.
