So after duty Friday night, and a rather ugly conversation with Diana about her feelings for me versus her parents'wishes, I was asked if I wanted to out Saturday night. I figured it couldn't hurt to get completely blasted. So I called up the boy band, and as we were about to leave and head downtown, I got a call from Heather (the trouble-maker from this past fall who's now dating one of my best friends), asking what we were doing for the night. Jason told her what was up- then promptly bowed out as we headed downtown.
Needless to say, by the time we made it 5th Quarter, the only people still with us were Zeke and one of his VERY drunk friends, Heather, and myself. I met up with
bananacranapple at the bar with some of her friends, and we hung out. I was pleasantly surprised by that- I knew she was cute, but she was looking very nice Saturday night. Why she's single is still beyond me...if only I knew any really nice guys, but all my friends are total jerks.
I was talking to Jackee for a while when Heather came up to me and told me she wanted to dance. Before I even had a chance to set my drink down, she was dragging me out onto the dance floor and basically started dry-humping me on the dance floor. Note for future reference: don't bring Heather out anymore when going out dancing. She danced with me long enough to leave a nice- sized tent in my pants, then took off for her boyfriend's house to go get laid. Thanks, bitch.
I continued drinking, managing to drink myself into a VERY low IQ. Literally. I drank myself flat- out stupid, right Jackee? Thankfully, I think I was too drunk to really make too big of an ass of myself (I really don't remember), before I took a cab and passed out at home. Needless to say, I'm NEVER drinking that much EVER again.
Sunday was painful- I spent most of the day in bed or in the bathroom. I tried going to the gym for a while, but I felt like shit the entire time I was there and just left and went back home. Diana called me later in the afternoon and apologized for what she'd said the day before, as did I. We talked for a while longer about a great many things- school, growing up, our siblings, dogs, music. We're trying to talk just as friends to see where this whole thing is going, but we can both tell that there are things that neither one of us is saying. She admits that she likes me, and we both know how I feel about her, but as it stands now she's still scared that her parents aren't going to let me in. Time will tell with that, and she's still thinking about moving down here. She definately wants to move to Charleston when I'm due to rotate there in a couple of years, so we'll see what happens there with some distance from the family.
