So as I alluded to in a couple of entries a few weeks back, a couple of friends of mine started playing matchmaker with me and a friend of theirs that had just moved to town. To say we hit it off would be an understatement (and no I didn't sleep with her the first weekend, for several reasons), and we've been seeing each other for about the last three weeks now. She's still trying to find a job in her field since she's only been in town a few weeks now, but is pretty confident that she won't have a problem- she's working as a Medical Tech (Phlobotomist) while she finishes Nursing school. And, to top it off, she's a redhead. *winks*

And now I've gone and forgotten what else I was going to say. Damn.

On a totally unrelated note, I've started getting Myspace set up- add me bitches! Oh, and I forgot to mention- apparently "Our Leader" is going to be in town tomorrow morning for the 60th anniversary of V-J Day. (The question now being when the HELL will we be able to truly declare a V-I Day?) So...there are a few choice things I would say about that, but since it would be a violation of the Big Brother, I mean Patriot Act, I won't say directly that I think the best position for a good....view would be right across the harbor from North Island, say the cruise ship piers or the USS Midway, if yall catch my drift. *winks again*

Ugh- time to get to work. I'll figure out what the hell I was going to write about later.
