The Tale of Suzie, Continued
Mar. 10th, 2004 03:35 pmI just got home from work a few minutes ago and gave her a call- she picked up after a few rings..found out she's been sick for the last couple of days, and then I asked her about this past weekend:
"So why didn't you tell me you were going to be in Virginia Beach this weekend?"
"Well, we just sorta decided and left..."
"I tried calling Sandra's cell phone on Saturday to talk to you, but nobody, answered-"
"oh, she lost it a couple of weeks ago."
"oh.....well I really would have liked to see you....I don't know if it's just me, but I've been kind of getting the feeling the last couple of weeks that maybe you don't want to talk to me, or are mad at me for something, so what's up?"
"-click-"
OK, I have no idea what this means, but she's not answering her phone now....... I'm just really confused about a lot of things- everything seemed to be going wonderfully, and now it's like I've run headlong into a brick wall....I barely slept last night because I was so confused and a bit hurt, and now.....I don't know. Except that there's a bottle of Captain Morgan in the living room, a case of coke in the fridge, and they're both starting to look really good.
